Geek With Kids

Last night we had a small water balloon fight,  the kids loved it. So today before dinner we filled up another batch of water balloons and the water guns and had at it.  The kids loved it and so did I.  I had fotgoten how much fun water fights could be.  I don’t think that will be our last water fight this summer.

Today we headed to Wassaga Beach for some fun in the sun.  We had lots of fun but not too much sun.  After some fun in the water the kids and I sat down to build a sand castle.

Today’s picture of the day is Violet and Ben jumping into blow up pool,.  The kids had a lot of playing in that little thing.

Today we headed up north for a getaway with some friends.  For my picture of the day is a sign that greeted us when we entered.  After working all day and the long drive up here it will have to do for tonight.  Tomorrow I’ll share some more pictures from around the place.

After what feels like weeks of weather delays,  the kids it the field for Softball tonight. For today’s picture,  I thought I’d use these to of the kids I took while they were at the plate batting.

It seems that every playground we visit in our neighbourhood is either new or being rebuilt.  Today the kids got try one of them out with Melissa. 

Today was Canada Day but more importantly it’s also Melissa’s birthday.  I captured today’s picture of the day after the morning rain let and we headed out for a walk as a family. The rest of the day was spent in relaxing celebration of the birth of the women love with some of our close friends.

Today the kids headed to there first day of camp.  They were both excited to go.  They were looking forward to meeting new people and having new adventures.

Today our family headed down to Christie Pits for an afternoon of fun. Looking over the picture from the day, the ones I caught of them on the swing captured the fun of the day the best.  It’s amazing how much fun the kids can have with a simple trip to the park.

Today we have a collage input together of Ruby and Jacob playing.  They I didn’t get as many pictures as I’d have liked but I did get these.  I think it’s the first time the two of them have really played.
