Today the family headed over to Melissa’s dads to see her Grandparents who are in town visiting. It’s the first time they have met our kids. A nice visit was had by all, though Violet seemed more interested in Grandpa’s new cat then anything else.
Project 365-240: Quack Quacks
Today was the family trip to the Canadian National Exhibition, It was great but tiring. Jacob was asleep 2 minutes after getting into the car, I’m sure Nana, Papa wished they could have done the same. They took Jacob earlier in the day and Melissa, Violet, Aunt Debbie and I came after Melissa got home from work. We took a ton of pictures with our Nikon, but I think I’ll just use this shot from my phone for my picture of the day. It was near the end of our night and Jacob was waiting to ride a kids Roller Coaster when Violet say the duck pound game. She loved it. She kept grabbing at the ducks and saying ‘Quack quack.’ I think she might have even said ducky. A little after this picture Nana took her to play the game and she didn’t let go of her little price till we got to the car.
I’ll review the rest of the photos soon and do a post just about the day. Just don’t have the energy tonight.
Project 365-239: Let’s go Shopping
Project 365-238: mmmm…. Dinner?
Project 365-237: Getting back out there
Today I headed out for a run, It’s been almost 10 days since I’ve gone out for a run. Last time I was out I pulled a muscle in my thigh and haven’t been able to run. After re-injuring my muscle on the weekend I figured as soon as I thought I could handle it. It wasn’t an easy run, but I managed to get close my pre-injury pass, but it was hard. It’s amazing how much can be mental, as I was running I was watching my pass in Runkeeper and It seemed I was going very slowly. It took a while but I soon realised that I was looking at Miles and not KM. It all worked out in the end and I’m looking forward to my next run, tomorrow or Friday.
Project 365-236: Walking the line

Today as we walked home from the store, Jacob tried to walk along the narrow wooden divider hear our house. He was pretty good at it, though he still needs to hold one to something or someone.
Project 365-235: Kids Table
Project 365-234: Geek Tragedy
Today we have a picture of a victim of a tragic accident. I wont go into the details, just show the effect. I’m currently seeing what I can do for the poor thing. It looks like we’re going to clip it’s wings and turn this once free roaming computer into a desktop. I’m always interested in extending the life of computers, even when they aren’t mine.
Project 365-233: Getting out Town
Today was a family barbecue in Fenelon Falls, we had planned on attending but with Melissa’s hectic work schedule over the last week and continuing into next, it just didn’t work out. When we first told Jacob he was quite disappointed. It worked out for the best when Nana and Papa decided to take him along with them. As they were heading out I snapped todays picture, Jacob doesn’t seem to impressed does he?
