Today was practice day for Jacob and his Alderwood T-Ball team. It was great to watch . Well it was a practice day, but it was great to watch him out there running the bases and swing the bat. Violet had a great time too, chasing after Jacob and trying to take part in the practice. Our picture today is of Jacob enjoying his snack after a great day of T-Ball.
Today Jacob’s friend Liam brought down his electric car. I had to snap a few pictures as the kids drove around the little playground near our house. I’m wondering how long till Jacob asks for one.
Today Jacob spent the day with his nana and papa visiting his uncle Jimmy. While mommy work Violet and I headed to the park to play. She had a lot of fun climbing and swinging and building piles of wood chips”.
Today after swimming the family head out for dinner. Melissa snapped this picture while we were waiting to order. It seems our little angel was tired after a long day. Well actually she was just playing because she didn’t want mommy to take her picture. But I thought it made a cute picture.
The last couple of Days Jacob has taken to climbing on to a cement block in the playground near our house. So today Melissa took out the good camera and captured Jacob doing the climb.
It seems our little guy isn’t feeling to well. After a great day at school, where he went on his first field trip, he came home and crashed. Of course it’s now midnight and he’s awake, though I’m not sure for how long.
Today after Jacob’s Blastball game, Kara and Liam joined us as we headed out to pick up a few things treats for the boys field trip lunches. Violet was all about taking the wagon, we pulled it out and before we knew it Liam wanted to pull it. It was so cute I couldn’t resist taking a picture.
Today was a holiday, and though it did include enjoying BBQing and enjoying the warm weather with kids. It also included a number of loads of laundry. It was a nice day but would have been better if Melissa didn’t have to work and we could have spent it on a family picnic.
Today we suffered a lose in our family, our old fan stopped spinning and then proceeded to fry the motor. So it’s was time to find a new living room fan. We picked up this 3 headed tower fan, using some of our Canadian Tire money.
Today Jacob and I headed down to the Rogers Centre to watch some baseball. Jacob was excited about being at a game, though I’m not sure if it was the Baseball or the snacks that excited him more. We were there with some of his Blastball teammates and it was great fun. The game featured 3 home runs (2 by Jose Bautista). All of which ended up in the seats to sections away from us. Our seats were behind the Blue Jay Bullpen so we had a great view of the relief pitchers warming up, Jacob even snagged a ball after Jason Frasor finished warming up. Both Jacob and I are looking forward to our next game later in the summer.
