Geek With Kids

Today we spent the day decorating our Christmas tree. It was fun going through all the different ornaments, listening to Christmas music.

Today we have pictures of Jacob during his weekly climbing class at Bouldez. He really likes to climb, I’m so glad he’s found an activity he loves.

Today we headed out to Markham for Violet’s first DS game of the season. She was so excited to hit the ice. It was a great game. After giving up the first goal in the first minute of the period, the Dolphins managed to tie and then take a 2-1 going into the 3rd period where their offence exploded for unanswered goals. It was a great way to start the season.

With Christmas just over three weeks away, it’s time for our little elf friend to return. It’s also a good time to return to my posting of the picture of the day. So to start the month we have a picture of Jingles saying hi to the kids this morning.

Today I headed to the kid’s school for a Parents Council meeting, so I took a moment to capture this work of art on the wall by Violet’s classroom.

Today was the official end of summer so after dinner the ids and I headed out to enjoy it. We started with some play time for Ruby in the big park before heading for a walk around the neighborhood. I had hopped to get a picture of the kids but this one of Ruby relaxing in the water park was to cute not to use.

I was just sitting here watching the Blue Jays on runs against the Seattle Mariners when ruby slipped up onto the couch and put her head on my lap. I just can’t figure out if she wants attention from me, or if she’s hopping I wont notice her and she can get at the chips sitting next to us. Either way it’s nice to have her here with me.

Today after dinner the kids and I headed out to hunt for a few things at the mall. Our hunt was only half successful, I got what I was looking for. Unfortunately the Pokémon Go Plus that Jacob was looking for was sold out everywhere. We did stop by Indigo so Violet could look at the American Girl store. While there I captured today’s picture of the day.

Today we headed down to the World Cup Fan Village so that Violet and her DS team could play some hockey and pose with both the World Cup and even the Stanley Cup.

Today we have a picture of Violet playing a game of Table Hockey at Mastermind Toys. She really loves hockey, doesn’t mater if its, Ice, ball or table.
