Today we have a picture of Violets Flower family.

Tonight I thought I’d share something a little different. An animated GIF from Violet’s DS practice. When I watch this I can’t help be amazed at how much better she gets every time she steps on to the ice.

Today we have a picture of the kid’s science experiment. They are growing salt crystals to look at under Jacob’s microscope.

Today we have a picture from Violet’s hockey practice. I captured this while they were skating off the ice, as the Zamboni waited to hit the ice.

After a two week break from house league hockey Violets team hit the ice for their first game of 2017. It was a hard fought game with the Silver Stars falling 4-2. What impressed me was how hard Violet played. Going in to the corners for the puck and not giving up when she went for the net. She was rewarded for her effort with a beautiful goal on a rebound.

Today while mommy worked the kids and I sat down with Jacobs Microscope to see what we could see.

Melissa and the kids spent some time baking cupcakes, because well baking is fun. So they seemed perfect for today’s picture of the day.

Tonight we have a picture of Violet as she watches the Gold Medal game of this year’s world Juniors. It was a great game, with an unfortunate ending (Canada lost in a shootout). Violet didn’t want to go to bed till it was over.

Today we have a picture of Ruby Meeting Violet’s new Hatchimal. She wasn’t impressed. She approached it very cautiously jumping back whenever it moved. She didn’t bark at it the way she barked at the RC Car, but she wasn’t a fan.

Today we have a picture of Violet’s Inspirational Hockey puck and tape that she got from her DS team for Christmas.
