Ever since the first launch video I knew that we’d be getting Jacob a Nintendo Switch for his next birthday. Watching this video, for the first time I thought maybe I shouldn’t wait for Jacob’s birthday maybe I should get it for myself on my birthday.

Today Microsoft launched what I think will be the future of Mobile OSes. I expect to see Google and Apple releasing their own text based Phone OSes in the next 6 months. If you have a windows phone, get it out here.

A couple of days ago I was on Google plus when I saw this in my Auto Awesome feed. I thought it was a great little video and wanted to share it with more people than on Google Plus, so I uploaded it to YouTube and posted it here. Enjoy

 

Today a few friends shared this video on Facebook. I saw it and knew I had to re-share it. Violet watched the video with me four times before we went to the site www.goldieblox.com and watched all the video’s of the different creations. I think I know what I’m going to get my little girl for her birthday (I would do Christmas but I think we’re done shopping for her already.)

When I saw this video I was blown away. It’s an ad for an IOS game by the Mexican food chain Chipotle one of my favourite places to eat. It’s a stunning video, I urge all my friends to watch. From the animation to the music it’s just stunning. Don’t know anything about the game, will probably check it out next time I have some time on Melissa’s iPad.

A friend posted this video on Facebook this afternoon, and I knew I had to share it on my blog. I can’t even guess how many hours I played this game as a kid, but watching it now it has a much more of an emotional reaction then I expected.  My figures are twitching, I want to try playing it again.  While looking for an image for my C64 emulator I found this re-make from 2003 (http://aztecaqueen.com/), enjoy. One note the re-make isn’t suitable for children.

Saw this video on Google Plus, and just knew I wanted to share it. I thought about simply posting it to my Facebook feed, or my Twitter feed, then I remembered that I had a blog for this kind of thing. It’s a great story but I can’t help but wonder about all the other kids out there that have a great idea like this but never get that first customer.

 

Ok, I don’t usually post video’s I find on the web and the thought of sharing a product ad seems wrong. Except this time. This ad speaks to me as a geek and more importantly as a father. It also highlights the number one feature I use on the Google Plus mobile app.

Someone shared this video on Google+ and I thought it was worth sharing with my Readers. I didn’t realize how complicated Daylight Savings Time is.
