Jacob salutes while showing of his woody PJs

In the middle of a busy day I found some time to take the kids the the park.

Tonight I came home to a picturesque dinner. Melissa had taken the time to make a nice Salmon, rice and saled dinner. It look so good I had to snap a photo for my picture of the day. Thanks for a lovely dinner honey.

Today’s picture is of Lynn and Dan’s new Mini-Van. It’s a nice looking vehicle though now Melissa is talking about us getting one… I never thought I’d be a Van person 😉

Today was skating day, so here is a picture I snapped while heading to the ice. Jacob did amazing, he can pick himself up from the ice all by himself now. I’m hoping to get some video next week and edit together a video of him skating.

Our little family is going through a lot of changes. From eating better to working out. Today we went to the Gym, though most of the time the kids were in the child care centre. Jacob manged to get some time on the Machines.

Today I share a picture of some plants my mom has started growing in her window. They are sun flowers destined for the flower box in front of our place. It’s amazing to see how quickly they are growing. Before you know it they will be in our garden flowering.

Today our picture is of a childhood favourite, the Ice-Cream truck. but today when I saw it while the kids were playing in the park all I could think about was the fact that Violet can’t run up to it and get a cone. We can’t be sure that there isn’t peanuts the ice-cream or that the peanuts used to dip the cones doesn’t get on to hers. So as much as I would like to join the rush to the truck when I hear it’s siren call. I know that I can’t. It just seems unfair that Violet wont be able to experience one of the great childhood moments.

When I got home from work today Jacob was napping so Violet and I headed down to the store to pick up a few things. She really enjoyed showing of her summer dress.
