Today we have a picture of Jacob’s Shroomboom Skylander. We’ve played a lot more Skylanders recently, hoping to finish Giants before the new one comes out this fall. I’ve also had a bit of technical difficulties with the blog, though everything seems good now.

Today we have another picture of the kids lunches. Once again I spent the morning putting together a lunch for the kids, that Melissa and discussed last night.

Today Jacob had his first Beavers meeting. He was so excited waiting for Nana and Papa to take him. It’s so exciting to see Jacob trying new things. Thanks Nana and Papa for signing taking him and being evolved.

Today Jacob headed out with his Uncle Jim to Lego Land, leaving the afternoon for Violet and I to go visit Melissa. After spending a great afternoon together I thought it would be nice to take Violet out for a Father Daughter dinner. I took this picture of Violet while she was showing off her treasures from Melissa.

Today we went to Nate’s first birthday party. That little guy is sure having his share of celebrations. The kids had a great time, and I took lots of pictures, but for tonight I will just share the one of Nate with his birthday cake.

Today wraps up Violet’s first week of school and with it she brought back some art work. I thought that her pizza would make a perfect picture of the day.

Today Violet started at a new ballet studio. She was so excited waiting for Nana to pick her up, I had to get a picture of her to remember the day.

Today we celebrated our Nephew Nate’s first birthday with some cupcakes. Happy Birthday Nate, I hope you enjoyed your birthday Cupcake.

Today we have a picture of the kids. It was fun putting it together today because I got to make Macaroni and Cheese for Violet. It’s a challenge to put together a tasty and healthy lunch for the kids every day, but with help from Melissa I’m managing.

Today Violet started Kindergarten. It’s hard to believe that she’s grown up that much. She has been so excited about going to school for months,, it was great to be able to walk with her. Of course looking at her this morning I couldn’t help but think back to Jacob’s first day of school and his Schultüte (Project 365-256: Schultüte (School Cone) ). There are lots more pictures, but I think I’ll save them for another post, but I will leave you with one bonus picture
