November is National Novel Writing Month and tonight was the launch party. The goal is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 day. Today’s picture of the day is of My dad, Sister and niece, each hopping to write a novel this year. I too will try to write a novel, stay tuned for updates.
Today was picture day at the kid’s school, so before sending them off I asked them to show me their smile. I only managed to catch Violet’s practice pose, though I’m hopeful they both did good at school.
Today we were invited to the home of our friends Bill and Jenn for what turned out to be a fun little pumpkin carving party! All of the kids had a blast carving their little pumpkins! Thanks so much for inviting us out to your neck of the woods Bill and Jenn!
Today Violet’s ballet studio held there annual Boogie Bash. Both the kids were thrilled to be able to wear their costumes out before Halloween and the bash was a lot of fun. With Food, Games and dancing. It was a fun night out as a family.
This morning while packing the kids lunches I slipped in a little not from me to them. There was one for each of them, but only Jacob’s made it back. So for today’s picture of the day I thought I’d share his note.
Today Violet’s Ballet class celebrated Halloween Early. She was so excited to wear her costume. I can’t believe how grown up she looks.
Today Jacob brought home another math test, and once again he’s mark makes both Melissa and I so very proud. He’s working so hard and school it’s nice to see that his grades reflect that.

Once again the day has runout without a good picture of the day. So here is a picture of the kids Salami Sandwiches.
Today at Beaver Scouts Jacob carved a pumpkin. It’s an impressive job, I can’t wait till this weekend when our family get to carve pumpkins.
Today Violet came to me with a picture of a face on a white piece of paper and Asked me to cut it out for her. Next thing I knew I was tieing a ribbon on it and was running around showing off her mask.
