Today we had a follow-up with the fracture clinic and everything seems to be going ok. Her bone’s still aligned and the cast is in good shape. Best of all she’s been cleared to play in the first Lacrosse tournament this season.

Today while heading to a client meeting we saw a family of geese walking through the green space between the buildings.

Tonight at Lacrosse practice Violet got her jersey for the coming season of lacrosse. We’re still not sure how well she’ll play with one arm in a cast, but if today’s practice is any indication she’s going to give it her best shot.

Today was Scotiabank Girls HockeyFest, an event Violet had been looking forward to for weeks. A chance to skate with her hero Natalie Spooner. When she broke her arm last week we were so worried that she’d miss it. I’m so glad that it turned out to be such a memorable day for my little Hockey Diva.
With it finally feeling like the warm weather is here to stay, we picked up a bunch of flowers today. I think it’ll look lovely once it’s all planted.

Between the issues with my blog and family commitments, I’m having trouble keeping up with my renewed focus on blogging. But more is to come, for now here is a sneak peek at what Violet’s Jersey will look like next hockey season.

Today Violet and I ran the Novo Nordisk® “Hazel” 5KM Run/Walk. I’m working on a post with picture I captured pre and post race. Stay tuned.

Today I turned forty, to celebrate our little family had a nice dinner out. While we were waiting for our food, Melissa captured this picture of me and the kids. it’s the little moments with our growing children that I cherish, they are growing up so fast.

Tonight was Violet’s last day of dance photos, so it seems fitting to use a picture of her in all her costumes for today’s picture of the day. As another dance season enters the final weeks, I am impressed with how hard my little dancing diva works. Even when she’s forced to miss a class she practices at home or asks her friends from class to show her what she missed.

Wednesday nights means Lacrosse practice for Violet. It’s nice to spend an hour outside a few times a week watching Violet play or practice. Tonight while watching, couldn’t help but be amused by the plans that seemed to fly overhead ever a couple of minutes.
