Today we have a different sort of Ruby picture. Today while we were doing some reorganizing in Violet’s room, Ruby joined us. Before we knew it she was under the bed. we tried to capture the moment, this was the best shot we got. If I were to tell the full story, Ruby was just trying to help out. Violet was under their picking up some of her things that had accumulated under her bed. In the end Ruby did come out with something, so I guess she did help.

Yesterday after Jacob’s swimming lesson we headed to Toys-R-us so the kids could spend their Christmas Gift-cards. so today I thought it would be fun to share a picture of Violets little Love Bird. Perhaps in the coming days I’ll share pictures of some of the other things they bought in the coming day.

Tonight we have another picture of Ruby. Tonight she’s sleeping on her  new bed while I watch some TV.

Today we got together with our family to celebrate the season.  It was a fun time, and as always the kids (and parents) had a good time.

Today we have a collage of pictures I took of the kids as they skated around the Ice path at Sir Samuel Smith park. It was a fun outing, though by the end of it was really snowing.

With Melissa back at work I find dinner prep resting on just me. Finding a variety of food that the kids will eat can be a bit of a challenge. Tonight we had BBQ pork chops with a side of pasta and veggie (peas and carrots(. They both seemed to enjoy it, though Violet wanted more pasta than pork chops.

One of Jacob’s favourite breakfasts is a Sausage on an English Muffin. He loves when Melissa makes it for him, but this morning we changed things up. He made it for himself It was fun watching as he realized how simple cooking really is. I wonder what the next thing we’ll tackle together in the kitchen.

We spent the last night of 2014 with Friends, celebrating the year that was and looking forward to the year that will be. I snapped the picture of the day of the tired kids as they waited for the new year to begin.

I captured tonight’s picture of the day after Jacob had gone to sleep. I powered up his new XBox One and headed back to the French Revolution with Assassins Creed Unity.

Tonight was our board Christmas dinner at Ember Hotstove. So for my picture of the day I have my Prime Rib dinner.
