Today we have a picture, well pictures, I took at Jacobs hockey game. Google’s AutoAwesome just put a few of my action shots together to form a pano of the game. My question for you is how many Jacobs are there in today’s picture of the day?

One of the things I like about my work is the variety, though on some days its less stimulating than others. For example today was spent installing the office on over a dozen computers. Time consuming but not very challenging. So tonight when I got home I decided put a personal project on the fast track and today’s picture of the day is the supplies I got to fuel my evening of coding. I don’t want to say what I’m working on just yet, but I hope to soon. What I will say is that when it is done I will finally have something that I’ve written that I use everyday.

Today is Thursday so that means Hockey Skills at Mimico arena.  Today I have a picture of Violet charging down the ice.  I really love watching out there skating up a storm.

Today Melissa and Violet headed to their favourite store,  the American Girl shop in Indigo at Yorkdale.  There Violet used her birthday gift cards to get herself a new doll.  Meet Molly Rose,  the first American Girl doll that didn’t come with a name.

Today we have a picture of Jacob at Violet’s dance class. Instead of sitting in the main room Jacob and I hung out in the Homework room. I worked away on my tablet, while Jacob worked on his Pokémon collection.

Last night our fair city has hit by a bit of a snow storm. Thr kids loved plaiying in it. Of course buses were cancled but the schools were opoen so off they went, Violet was excited. Jacob Just wanted to stay home. Considering how few kids were at school, I really could have saved us the trip.

Today we had Violet’s 6 birthday party at Chuck-e-Cheese with friends and family. Well mostly her friends from school. It’s always a bit of a challenge to through a party for a dozen little girls, but every year Melissa manages to pull it off. I don’t know her secrete, all I know is she gives me a list of what I need to do and the party’s are always a great success.

Today we have a picture of Jacob,  showing of his new hair cut.

Tonight after swimming Violet and I popped into Dominoes for some pizza. They were backed up, so I had time to take today’s picture of the day.
