Today we found ourselves at Urgent Care again, this time for Jacob. It seems out little guy has another Ear Infection. Thankfully we didn’t have long to wait.

POD: Potty Time
Today we started Potty training our little girl. Once again Melissa will bear the brunt of the challenge with the potty, as she’s on holiday next week. Today was a mixed bag, one pee on the floor, one pee in the potty. It’s a start, we’ll see how the rest of the week goes.
POD: Saying Good-bye
Today we said good-bye to Melissa’s Aunt Debbie. It was a hard day, but there was lots of family and friends to help remember and celebrate her life. It seems another night sleep hasn’t helped me to find the words any easier. All I can say is that in the short time that I knew her Debbie touched my life in a great way and it’s very sad to think that she will know longer be there. She will be missed.
POD: Beloved Aunt
Today we had visitations for Melissa’s Aunt Debbie, It was a long day and I can’t seem to find the words to express the emotions of the day. Of course tomorrow will be another day filled with more emotions. I’ll try again to find the words, but as I realised when I was talking to Jacob about tomorrow before bed I’m not very good at this. I do want Melissa, Lynn, Jimmy and all of Aunt Debbie’s Children and Grand-children to know that my heart goes out to them and I wish there was more I could do during this hard time.
POD: Take a number
It seems that life is conspiring to keep my from my blog. There are a number of tweaks and new posts I have been planning that I just can’t seem to get done. To be fair my blog has been the last thing on my mind the last few days, on one level it seems so unimportant when considering some of the things going on with my family. Tonight added a new wrinkle with Melissa spending the evening in urgent care because of a persistent cough. Our picture is a testiment to her wait. When she came in she pull number 50 and the counter was in the low 30s. All should be alright, though as I write this we’re still waiting for the final word from the doctors.
Update: It seems Melissa has Pneumonia, so its off to the drug store to fill her 4 prescriptions.
POD: Firing up the Grill
With today being the first day of spring it seemed only fitting to fire up the BBQ and enjoy some burgers. Of course first it there was a trip to Costco to get Propane and Burgers.
POD: Celebrating the end of Winter (Updated)
Today was the last day of winter, and so I took some time before lunch to take the kids out to enjoy the sunny day. We wandered over to a playground in a local school. It was a little chilly but they didn’t seem to mind.

POD: Can we skip Spring?
Today we decided to skip spring and head right into summer. Well actually Melissa took some time this afternoon to pick up some new summer clothes for the kids and when they got home Violet did a little fashion show.
POD: Growing Girl
With all that is going on tonight, it seemed I couldn’t find time to get a picture or a post. So tonight we use a picture Melissa snapped of Violet on their trip to the park this afternoon. Looking at my baby girl in this picture makes me wonder how long I have left before she tells me that she’s not a baby.
POD: Is it Spring yet?
Today after work I headed out to the local parts with the kids. It’s great to be able to head out side and enjoy the spring like weather we’ve been having. It was nice to see Violet try her bike outside for the first time.
