Yesterday I used a picture of the KFC Double Down as my picture of the day. Today I thought I’d use something I made for myself. This is the burger I made for myself this afternoon. What you’re seeing is a 5oz paddy from European Meats with cheddar cheese, grilled mushrooms and onions, with lettuce and pickles.
Today I did something I have wanted to do for years. Today I had a Double Down from KFC. Of course this years sandwich is spicy and I’m not the biggest fan of spicy chicken from KFC, but it was still an impressive sandwich. Though I did find the Chicken “bun” to be a little hot to hold when I first unwrapped it.
Tonight after reading a story to the kids and tucking them in for the night I headed outside to enjoy a beer in the cool evening air. Tonight’s section was a Mill Street Cobblestone Stout. It was night sitting outside enjoying my beer and just letting the day unwind.
Today was fathers day, and I was so happy to be able to spend it with my kids. Thank you Melissa for making the day full of so much family fun.
Today was Violet’s second Dance Recital so it’s only fitting that she had two numbers instead of just one. Of course it was a long day and I’m to tired to share more than just this Family shot. Perhaps in a couple of day’s I can share more from this wonderful day.
Today we have a picture of my niece who graduated from high school today. I am so proud of her, she’s worked really hard and I’m happy to see it paying off.
Today when I went to the mail box there was a surprise waiting for me. I’m not sure what’s in it, but it’s from Violet, it’s something her preschool did while learning about the post office. Considering that Sunday is Father’s day think I’ll wait to see what’s inside my special letter.
Today Violet’s pre-school headed to the local Fire Station for a tour. From all the picture Melissa took it looked like the class had fun. I just loved this picture of Violet sitting in the fire truck made me smiled so I thought it’d be a perfect Picture of the day. I’m happy to report that yesterday’s picture of the day was a hit with the kids, and I promise I’ll post a picture of Jacob’s hair cut soon.
Tonight Melissa was hard at work putting together snack for Violet’s preschool field trip tomorrow. There are 24 bags with Multi Colour Goldfish crackers, Multi-Grain Alphabet pretzels, Chex Rice cereal, marshmallows, Yogurt covered raisins and dried cranberries. I hope the kids like them.
For a while we’ve been trying to decide what to do with Jacob’s hair. He insisted he didn’t want a buzz cut, but today that change. So Papa came over with his clippers and buzzed Jacobs hair. Thanks Papa for cutting his hair before he had a chance to change his mind again.
