POD: Valintines Day Hockey with Violet

20160214-ValintineDayHockey

To Violet and I headed down to the MasterCard Centre to watch the last home game of the Toronto Furry. Violet was really excited to see Natalie Spooner play. She ware’s her number 24 on her DS team and was so sad that we were not able to get her autograph. The game was great, the Furries managing to tie it in the final few minutes to force overtime. Unfortunately they lost in overtime, but Violet loved the game, and I think we’ll be watching a lot more Furry games in the years to come.

POD: Racing down the Ice

Last night was Violet’s practice night, and I captured this picture of her as she started down the ice. Of course she was lagging a bit behind the other girls because instead of watching the coach and waiting for her to blow the whistle she was chatting with her teammate. I’m proud to say she wasn’t the last one to the other side of the rink either.

POD: Watching hockey

Today we headed to dinner with Nana and Papa,  while there I captured this this picture of Violet as she watched the leafs game.  It was great to see her interest,  though at home she never wants to sit and watch with me.  Of course as a father I question if raising her a leaf fan is really the best thing for her.  Can I really set her up for a life filled with  that kind of disappointment.
