Today during Ruby’s after dinner walk we went to the empty playground to let her have a little off leash time. While there she was playing she took a moment to lay on the little slide. So out came my phone and I captured this cute picture of our little Ruby.

I captured today’s picture this morning. After taking care of the kids, and dog’s morning routine I had headed up to get myself ready for work. When I came back down I found Violet and Ruby laying on the floor. It was so cute that I knew it would be the picture of the day. It’s one of the few times I’ve seen the two of them hanging out calmly together.

Today our fair city was reminded that spring is still 9 days away with what I hope is one last snow storm. It started snowing in the morning and didn’t stop for the entire day. Looking at the snow cover streets I knew I had to capture it for today’s picture of the day.

Today Jacob’s ears struck again. Once again my little guy has an ear infection. So off to the kids clinic we went, for some antibiotics. He spent the night in pain, I just hope it doesn’t bother him the entire March break.

This morning, or Last night depending how you look at it, Violet pulled out different books from her room and brought them to Mommy and explained what she liked about them all. It was an attempt to stay awake, and it worked for a while, but in the end sleep found her. Of course that was after 3. What impressed me was that she woke up this morning singing.

Today Jacob’s Beaver troop headed to the Pizza Pizza University. They had a great time, first learning about Pizza Pizza and then getting to make their own pizzas.

Today we have a picture a couple of Ruby that Melissa took after she climbed onto the couch. The fist is her sneaking a nap on the couch and the second to picture she’s saying ‘what? I’m to cute to get into trouble.’

Today was our last day at Great Wold lodge, and though I did get a few pictures, I thought this one of Jacob and Violet made the best picture of the day. The one thing that became clear to me this weekend is that I’ve really got to invest in a water proof camera.

For today’s picture of the day I choice one a random shot I took while on my way home. With the temperature raising above zero for the first time in weeks and the rain expected to fall tonight and tomorrow I wonder how long the snow will last.

Today I thought I would try to brighten Melissa’s day with some flowers, for no other reason then I love her.
