Today Ontario went to the poll to choose a new provincial government. It was a hard choice this year, with no party really worthy of being in power. But it’s a democracy and you have to vote for the people who are running, so vote I did. As in years post my picture of the day is of the ballot (

HToday our family headed off to Canada’s Wonderland, for a day of fun with some of our friends. It was a good day, even with the rain. Most of all it was a long day. For today’s picture of the day I thought I’d use these 3 of the kids as their heights were checked. I tried to get on of Nate but he didn’t really stay still long enough
Today while Jacob was at Beavers Violet and I went for a walk around the neighborhood. Stopping at a few playgrounds along the way, it was a fun evening for the 2 of us. Along the way she posed for a picture against the Toronto skyline.
Today we have a picture of the kids doing there traditional easter egg hunt.
Today’s Violet had her picture day at Ballet. She looks so cute in her costume, I can’t wait to see her recital, it’s hard to believe that’s only 6 weeks away. Where did this year go, before you know it Jacob will be 8 and school will be done for another year.
With a 20 degree drop in temperature and snow greeting us when we woke up this morning, it was nice to take a moment to remember that it is spring. So tonight while picking up a few things Melissa and I picked up these Tulips for my mom to say thank you for all the help she gives us.
Tonight while Jacob was at Beavers Scouts the sun came out, so I took the dogs to have some fun at the dog park. Unfortunately there was no other dogs there while we were, but the two of them had fun running around and chasing each other.
Another nears it’s end with out a POD, so we have here one of Jacob’s Lego Chima figures. I think it’s Laval, but with Jacob fast asleep I wont know till morning.
This evening was CSAC so after dinner the kids and I headed to their school. I don’t know why they love going so much, they spend the time in a class room with some other kids from school Today it was Violet’s class and so when I went to pick them up after the meeting I snapped this picture of some of Violet’s art from the wall. I didn’t get a chance to ask Violet what it was, but I can tell she wasn’t happy with what ever she was trying to draw.
Today the kids had their yearly checkups, after a bit of juggling they now will go on the same day every year. Today’s picture of the day was captured as the kids waited for the doctor in the exam room.
