Today while waiting for Jacob to get out of school I captured this picture of Violet playing hopscotch, at least I think that’s what she was trying to play. She didn’t do much hopping.
After spending Saturday cleaning out our patio and getting the BBQ all cleaned up for another year, I finally got to fire it up today to make Hotdogs for the kids and some friends kids. Of course I would have preferred some steaks, perhaps I’ll have to head over to the butchers and pick some up for this weekend.

Today we have a picture of Violet drawing away. Our little girl loves to draw, it was fun to watch as she used the letter magnets to hold up her many pages of art work.

Today while shopping with the family, we saw a funny looking vegetable. I’ve not clue what it is, but it looks funny so it’s today’s picture of the day.
I spent the afternoon working at a clients so I came home along the lake shore today. Looking out on the sky with the sun starting to set I knew I had to try to capture it. I took a much of pictures, but this one just seemed to capture the winter evening.

Today was Violet’s god mothers Birthday and as luck would have it she ended up at our place visiting Melissa. What’s even better with prodding from Violet, Melissa was up to baking a some Cupcakes to celebrate.

Today we have a guest photographer, Papa took this picture of the kids in the snow in Wasaga this afternoon. The kids seemed like they were having such a good time that I knew it would be my picture of the day.

I captured today’s picture while heading home. It’s a picture of the Humber River taken from the subway as it pulled into Old Mill Station.

Jacob brought home a couple of paintings today, one for Mommy and one for Daddy. Just before giving it to me he said he had to add something, and pulled out a crayon and added a bunch of XO’s to my picture. He explained that Mommy’s picture already had them, so he needed to add them on mine. I’m really impressed with how much his artwork has improved this year.

Today I didn’t manage to capture an image that I wanted to use as my POD. This was a problem that I needed to solve. While looking around the living room I saw Melissa’s Willow Tree collection and that they might be a good subject for the photo. I picked out a few of the family figures and took a few pictures. I like the way they show the different stages of family.
