Today Violet was at a birthday party with a very Special guest. It was amazing to watch as Cinderella interacted with the kids, and kept tall of them engaged, especially the birthday girl who had a huge smile on her face the entire time. It was great to watch. A question for my readers, can you tell what Disney Princess Violet is dressed as?

Tonight we have a picture of my to little girls, both being a little naughty. Violet is up way past her bed time, thanks to an afternoon nap. Ruby is on the couch which she knows she isn’t supposed to be on.

Tonight Jacob and I had a Guys night. we headed to the theater to see Pixels. Jacob loved it, and I really can blame him. if you get past the predictable plot and cliché characters it can was fun. specially if you played Video games in the 80s.

Today I have a panorama from the Jays game. It’s amazing how many people where there for a Tuesday night game. Between the players the team picked up at the trade deadline and the 9 game winning streak the excitement around the Jays is something not seen in this town for over 20 years.

Today Jacob came home from Camp. He gave it 2 thumbs way up, and is already talking about the fun he’ll have next time.

Today we headed up to Bracebridge to drop Jacob off at his first Overnight camp. For the next week Jacob will get to experience what summer camp is all about. Though he was nervous on the way up, he just happy to jump right in to a card game with his cabin mates. I’m so excited for the little guy.

Today Violet asked if she could put together one of her Birthday Lego Sets. I told her what I’ve always told Jacob, you need to follow the instructions and make sure you have a place to keep all the pieces. So there she was for some of the afternoon, and late into the night (There was an unplanned nap in between) working away. Trying to finish her Lego Friends Camper. I have to say it’s been eye-opening to watch how differently she works then her older brother. Not better, or worse just different.

Today was a relaxed family day spent enjoying the sun shine. It was also a perfect opertunity for Violet to work on her cartwheels. All summer she has been on a mission to learn how to do a cartwheel. It’s amazing to see who she continues to improve.

This evening after Soccer practice we found some time to spend with the “Contemplating Child”. Violet really loved climbing all over the statue. Her Nana wasn’t as big of a fan of her climbing.

Today at Taekwondo Jacob eared his third stripe. So now he’s ready to take the test to get his While and Yellow belt. We’re all so proud of him, but especially violet. She was so proud she insisted on being in the picture.
