Today Violet took part in her first dance recital. She was so excited to get out on the stage and dance. It makes the year of getting to her Saturday 9am dance class worth it. The picture was taken after the recital, with all her flowers that she wouldn’t let anyone else carry.
Today while Violet and Melissa were at ballet rehearsal Jacob and I headed to square one, where Jacob picked out a game. Jacob was thrilled to use the EB Games gift card he got for his birthday to pick up Mario Party 8 for the Wii.
Today I took the kids out for dinner, just me and the kids, letting mommy head out for a bit of a walk. On our way back we stopped by a playground so the kids could play a little. While there I took a few pictures, mostly of Violet climbing, because that was the only time I could take them without any other kids in the shot.
Today I have a picture of some of Jacob’s new games. He now has a game for all of our consoles.

Today I was at Violet’s preschool annual general meeting. While there I picked up the artwork that she did at the open house last week. Only disappointing this was Violet was already a sleep when I got back so she couldn’t see it.
Today we celebrated Jacob’s birthday with Friends and family Chuck E. Cheese. A great time was had by all, and there were lots of pictures. unfortunately I didn’t have the time t put together a full post. for now enjoy this picture of Jacob after he’d blown out his candle, and stay tuned for more in the coming days.
Today was Jacob’s birthday and we celebrated it as a family. It was such a full day, I decided to put together a collage of it. Of course it wasn’t till I was putting together the pictures I took during the day that I realised that we didn’t capture any at the movie theater.
Another day and another batch of cupcakes. These are for our little birthday’s boy T-Ball team. Tomorrow my little boy turns 6, it seems so unreal.
Tonight the family (by that I mean Melissa) made cupcakes to take to Jacob’s class tomorrow. I know Jacob is excited about taking cupcakes to his class tomorrow. Of course tomorrow night we get to do it all over again for his T-Ball game Saturday.
