POD: Trying to photograph the kids

From Pictures of the Day 2012

While on the way to exchange a pair of sandals for Jacob, I tried to capture a picture of my to little ones, together. It’s not an easy task. At the time I wasn’t happy with any of them, but when I looked at them on the bigger screen at home, I realised they were cute. I just couldn’t get them to both look at the camera, so I through them together in a collage and there we have my picture of the day.

POD: Watching the Game

From Pictures of the Day 2012

Today was the last Saturday morning Jacob will have to be at the diamond for 9. Tuesday will be the last game of the season. While watching him today I captured this picture of some of his teammates and him watching the game. As I sat there watching I realized that I’m going to miss my Saturday mornings ball games, and I think I’m going to look for something else for the two of us to do during the summer. Of course we’ll probably start it a little later than 9am.

To be fair they saw the little table through the window and wanted to create something. So while the coloured I looked around the store. It looks like it’ll be a nice store, and to top it off they are looking to have workshops that I think the kids might enjoy.

POD: New Baseball Cap

From Pictures of the Day 2012

It’s funny on the way home today I calculated that today is 902 day that I’ve posted a picture. Of course that was before I realized I had no picture for today. So I thought about different things I could take a picture of, the kids sleeping, one of their toys and it hit me I haven’t shown off my father’s day gift. Melissa and the kids picked out a Toronto Blue Jays cap for me. I’ve been wanting one since they change to the ‘classic’ look, and now I have one.
