Today we have a picture of our newest family pet. A Betta fish the kids won as part of the centre piece at the wedding on Saturday. They were very excited to bring home the little fish. We let the kids choose the name and it was Violet who came up with Rapunzel. They were even more excited when they came back from a shopping trip with Nana and Papa with our little aquarium and fish food.

Today we have a little blurry picture. That’s because it’s taken from a video I shot this morning of Jacob at Hockey camp.

Today Jacob started his week of hockey camp at the Mastercard Centre for Hockey Excellence. It includes an hour of skating, then some other camp activities. I’m happy to say he really enjoyed it, and has even asked about going for a full day next summer.

This morning Melissa headed off toHot Yoga, while she was there the kids and I hang out withut at our friends house. I captured today’s picture of the day while they were playing.

Today the family was at the wedding of Shannon and Rob. I’m hoping to share some pictures in the coming days, for now here is a picture of our little family taken by Danny.

Today’s picture is one taken by my mom, of my little Violet. She was helping out around the house and had her apron on to prove it.

Tonight after I thought the kids were in bed I was doing dishes, when my little girl came down the stairs and wanted to help me with the kitchen. It was so cute, I grabbed my phone and snapped a couple of pictures. She really loves to help.

Today when I came home to find that my little girl has been invited to a birthday party for one of her Ballet class mates. She’s very excited, about the party and that her ballet classes are stating again so soon. So to commemorate the moment I thought I’d use a picture of the invite as my picture of the day.

Today Nana and Papa dropped off a few things they got on their recent trip to the US. Violet couldn’t wait to try on her new dress, so I thought I’d share it as today’s picture of the day.

Today we headed out to do some shopping at the local big box mall, while we walked up the kids wanted to pose with the penguins. It surprised me I think it’s the first time I’ve got a picture with the kids next to the Smart!Centres penguins.
