For the last few day’s when ever I looked in Violet’s room I would see her princes blank draped over something. Today I decided to see what she was hiding. It was a Lego castle she’d built. She was quite proud of it and even posed next to it so I could get a picture.

Ever since Violet’s unscheduled haircut she has wanted to be able to have ponies again. Today my mom gave them back to her. They’re still small but they’re a start.
Today was a busy day, with Ballet, Hockey, and a birthday party, but that didn’t stop up from adding more to it. After all that we headed to our friends place to have a little pizza party. A good time was had by all.
Today on the way to Gymnastics this morning, I captured this picture of Violet. She looked so cute sitting there. I also like seeing the reflection of the window in-front of her.
Tonight Jacob shared a sweet moment with his little sister. While waiting for Family Game night to start he picked up one of her books and started to read to her. It was such a great moment I had to capture it.
This morning before heading off to our day’s Violet showed me her latest artistic work. It’s a portrait of her grandmother. She was so proud of it that she posed with it before putting it on a place of honour on the fridge.
Last night Jacob woke up with an earache, so far this winter we had managed to mostly avoid them. So this morning it was off to the doctor to get it looked at and pick up a prescription for some antibiotics and ear drops. While we were waiting to see the doctor I snapped today’s picture of the day.
Today we were at one of Jacob’s school friends Birthday party at a local indoor playground. Of all the pictures I took today these of the kids climbing seemed to be the best for my picture of the day.
Friday is Violet’s Gymnastics day, and to-day I got the pleasure of taking her to her class. I captured today’s picture of the day as we waited for her class to start. My little girl is trying so hard to grow up, wanting to do everything for herself. Today she kept insisting that she could change by herself in the girls change room. Of course I couldn’t have that, so I convinced her that she had to show me she could do it herself first then maybe next time she could go into the girls change room alone. I’m not sure what I’ll do the next time I take her to Gymnastics.

This evening when I went to check on Violet I found her passed out in her chair. I guess that she was so hard not to fall asleep in her bed that she ended up in her chair.
