This evening Violet headed out for a sleep over at Aunty Suzanne’s so Melissa, Jacob and I headed to McDs for a late night Ice Cream. While there I thought it would be nice to get a picture of Just me and my Boy. I should have asked Melissa to take the picture, but instead I used the front facing camera.
Today when I got home I found Violet’s latest piece of art waiting for me. I’m not sure what it is, but Violet seemed proud of it. So I think it deserves a place as my Picture of the Day.
With Melissa working tonight, I thought it would be fun for me and the kids to make mini pizzas for dinner. I keep trying to get the kids to have more topping on their pizzas. Usually they just want Pepperoni, tonight I manage to get them to add bacon. Next I’ll try to add some vegetables.
Tonight Jacob reminded me for all the growing up he’s done, he’s still a little boy. Shortly after I had tucked him in for the night, while I was listening to Violet tell me a bed time story, I heard him climb out of his bed. He came into Violet’s room and told me he couldn’t sleep because he didn’t have Coco. I told him to go back to bed, and I would find Coco once Violet was done her story. Violet’s story went on a little longer then I expected and when I finally went to Jacob’s room to find his stuffed friend, I found him already asleep with both Coco and Jeffrey. I just had to get a picture of my little man and his stuffed friends.
Today we headed out with our kids and our Nieces for a day of fun, that included Bowling, Castle playground and make your own pizza’s.
Tonight I thought I’d share a picture of the two kite’s Violet made in her pre-school. When she brought them home, I thought back to the day Jacob brought home his kite from pre-school (Project 365-115: Lets go fly a kite) and thanks to my project 365 I can share Jacob’s kite with you today.
Today when I was dropping Violet off at her afternoon class, I was taken by how pretty the lake looked. I tried to Convince Violet to walk closer to the lake so I could get a picture of her in front of it. Unfortunately she was having none of it. So this was our compromise.
Today after school my Mom took the kids down to the lake for a little adventure. The Kids love going on adventures with their Nan. I love when she takes pictures of the kids fun and I can use them for my Picture of the Day. I’m sure as the weather finally warms up they will be going on a lot more of these adventures. Perhaps I’ll find a time to tag along.
Monday is Violet’s skating class and today I arrived at the rink as her class was ending. Letting me captured this picture of her with Papa after her lesson.
Friday’s is swim day and today while during Violet’s lesson I captured today’s picture of the day. It’s the third week of the spring session and the kids are loving being in the pool again. Swimming is an activity the entire family enjoys and it’s a great skill for the kids to have, one I wish I had better mastered in my youth.
