
Today Jacobs class headed down to Harbour Front for a field trip. I’m not sure exactly what the field trip was but he came back with a clay dragon and this… it is also a dragon.

Today we headed to Marie Curtis Park for some picnic fun with friends. We captured this picture of Jacob posing and I knew it had to be my picture of the day.

Today we took Jacob and 4 of his school friends out to celebrate his birthday. We started with lunch at Mandarin then proceeded to Playdium for a couple of hours of video games. fun. Afterwards Jacob said: ‘Best Day Ever!’.

It’s a simple pleasure, but I find it quite relaxing to sit in the barber chair getting a shave. To be honest before my first shave the thought of someone running a blade across by throat didn’t seem all that appealing, but now it’s a perk I always try to have when I get my hair cut.

Today a letter came home from Violet’s class for Mom’s eyes only. So of course I went to open it. When I did I found a message telling me I should have listened to the note.

Today was Jacob’s soccer practice night, so I capture this picture of Jacob running during one of the drills.

Tonight I took Ruby out for a walk by the lake and captured tonight’s picture of the day. I spent a long time trying to capture the moon, with little luck. I think I’m going to have to invest in a better manual camera app for my phone, and spend some time learning to use it.

Today we Celebrated my uncle Walters 70 birthday at the Mandarin. It was great to see all the family. Though I took lots of pictures of family I thought these one of the kids enjoying some cotton candy made a great picture of the day.

Today Violet got her new 3 on 3 hockey jersey. Sitting at CanLan today watching her play really made me proud. She tries so hard and seems to really enjoy herself out there.

Today Ruby headed down to the vet to get her shots for the year. She did really good, even when they had to draw blood for her heart worm test. I captured this picture of her on the way home afterwards in the van.
