Today we had a bit of a fashion show with our little diva. She did great for most of it, but near the end she tried to make a break for it. It’s amaze how quickly she goes from pulling on the clothes that she likes to trying to get off the ones she doesn’t.

Project 365-245: Choosing his own Shirts
Today Melissa took the kids to Sherway to pickup some clothes. One of the things we needed was some short-sleeved shirts for Jacob, most of his school clothes are long-sleeved and with the warm weather we’re having we thought it would be a good idea to have some for when Jacob starts school next week. The interesting thing about these shirts is that Jacob choice them from a bunch of options at Sporting Life. I can’t believe that in less than a week and he’ll be in school. Where does the time go?
Project 365-244: Its really gone
Today before heading to the store the kids and I walked past the park from the other day (Project 365-242: Is this Goodbye?). As you can see nothing is left. As we walked over the little hill to the park Jacob was shocked to see nothing there. It’s a shame to see it go, I just hope that it finds a new home where kids will enjoy it.
Project 365-242: Is this Goodbye?
For quite a while we’ve been hearing talk about a local playground being removed to put in a Skate Park. We didn’t support the development, we liked the playground and felt the site was to small for a skate park. The last I had heard about it was that they were going to use some of the empty land across the street for the skate park, but today crews came and began dismantling the playground. I had hopped to get a picture of them during the dismantling but I didn’t get there in time, so all I have is what’s left.
Project 365-240: Quack Quacks
Today was the family trip to the Canadian National Exhibition, It was great but tiring. Jacob was asleep 2 minutes after getting into the car, I’m sure Nana, Papa wished they could have done the same. They took Jacob earlier in the day and Melissa, Violet, Aunt Debbie and I came after Melissa got home from work. We took a ton of pictures with our Nikon, but I think I’ll just use this shot from my phone for my picture of the day. It was near the end of our night and Jacob was waiting to ride a kids Roller Coaster when Violet say the duck pound game. She loved it. She kept grabbing at the ducks and saying ‘Quack quack.’ I think she might have even said ducky. A little after this picture Nana took her to play the game and she didn’t let go of her little price till we got to the car.
I’ll review the rest of the photos soon and do a post just about the day. Just don’t have the energy tonight.
Project 365-239: Let’s go Shopping
Project 365-236: Walking the line

Today as we walked home from the store, Jacob tried to walk along the narrow wooden divider hear our house. He was pretty good at it, though he still needs to hold one to something or someone.

Project 365-233: Getting out Town
Today was a family barbecue in Fenelon Falls, we had planned on attending but with Melissa’s hectic work schedule over the last week and continuing into next, it just didn’t work out. When we first told Jacob he was quite disappointed. It worked out for the best when Nana and Papa decided to take him along with them. As they were heading out I snapped todays picture, Jacob doesn’t seem to impressed does he?
Project 365-231: Old school fort

Today Jacob built himself a fort the way I did when I was a kid, bed sheets and furniture. I snapped this picture of Jacob while he played with his Jesse in the fort.
