Project 365-311: Computer Time Revisited

Once again my picture of the day is Jacob at the computer. I didn’t really plan this, it’s just that when we sat down for computer time he navigated to TVOKids.com and to the The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog game. He’s played it before but tonight was different. Tonight he wasn’t asking me to ready every chat box that popped up. He would sound out the words or when he’d stumble ask for help. But it was mostly him. It was amazing to see. I’ve know for a while that he was picking up reading but it’s the first time I’ve seen him using it for something more than just to read. So Nan took the search to more stores, but also came back empty-handed. Then it was time for Daddy to come to the rescue. On my way home I stopped off at a Mastermind that had some in stock. I got a few sets, but Jacob’s instant favourite was the alphabet.

Project 365-291: Caught Blue Handed

Today our little angel got her hands on one of Jacob’s school markers. The results weren’t pretty, though at times it was hard not to giggle, specially when the bath water turned blue while cleaning her up, I thought I was in an episode of Max and Ruby. We’re thinking we might have to pack the markers completely away, Jacob’s just to prone to leave them out after he’s done colouring with them.
