Tonight was the last class of Violet’s hockey school. So instead of the usual drills they played a game.

Sometimes its fun to take a break from the scheduled activities and just play, so today after Hockey Practice Violet play for a bit in the playground outside of the Long Branch Arena. I captured this picture while she played.

Tomorrow is Photo day at the kid’s school, so tonight we headed to the barber to get Jacob’s hair cut.

Tonight we sat down for a family dinner of Roast Beef, Mashed potatoes, corn and carets.

Tonight Violet headed to the Rogers Centre with her mom and cousin Alexis. They had great seats for the Taylor Swift concert and loved it.

After years of using Jacob’s old helmets Violet finally got one of her own. Of course it had to stand out, and after we were unable to find a white one we settled on pink.

Today we have a picture Violets new bucket of pucks. Our little hockey star can’t get enough of playing so we got her lots of pucks to practice with.

Today the puck dropped on Violet’s final season of Tyke hockey. Next year she’ll be playing Novice hockey and we face the dilemma of where should she play. She can continue i  Boys hockey or move to all Girls hockey. it’s a tough decision,  but one we don’t have to make till next year.

Today we headed up to Van Mills Mall to drop Jacob off. It’s camp weekend for our little guy and he was so excited. Of course we came very close to having to drive him all the way to camp, Still he’s off making more great memories at camp and I couldn’t be happier for him.

This weekend Jacob heads back to Camp Wenonah for a weekend of fun. He’s so excited. We drop him off at the bus tomorrow at 530 so we had to make sure everything was packed tonight.
