Ok, I don’t usually post video’s I find on the web and the thought of sharing a product ad seems wrong. Except this time. This ad speaks to me as a geek and more importantly as a father. It also highlights the number one feature I use on the Google Plus mobile app.
Today was Valentines day and of course we got the kids cards and some chocolates. My picture of the day is a good one of Jacob holding up his card with his Chocolates in front of him. It was such a great picture of my boy that I just had to use it.
Running errands with Melissa and me proved to much for my little girl today. She fell asleep about half way through our afternoon out. I was amused when I looked at the couple of photos I took of my sleeping girl to find that her eye was just a little open.
Today we have a picture of Jacob waiting for the Zamboni to finish before hitting the Ice for this weeks game. He did good today, I’m always amazed at home much better he’s getting better out there. I’m really hoping that he’ll score his first goal before the season ends, and watching as he got right in there trying to get puck I think it might happen.
Today we have a picture of Jacob pointing to his name on his hockey stats sheet for this week. It seems my little man was the player of the game on Saturday and he got his first assist during the game too.
Today we have a picture of Jacob attempting to record a walk-through on his 3DS. He’s wanted to record and post a walk-through one of his many Mario games for a while, but I haven’t found a good way to record it. Tonight I rigged up a little stand to try to capture it. It worked OK, but Jacob kept moving the DS out of the camera. So I’ll be looking at alternatives going forward. I had hopped to include some of the video of him playing with tonight’s post, but it’s still being processed. I hope to have a post soon dedicated to Jacob’s DS walk-throughs.
Today was a work from home day, and as usual I found myself leaving to pick Jacob up later than I should. So instead of walking with Violet I ended up putting her on my shoulders. Of course when she was up there I pulled out my phone and snapped today’s picture of the day.
Today’s picture was me playing with the front facing camera on my phone. I seem to have so few picture of me with both kids. Now it would have been perfect t if I could have managed to get Melissa in it too.
Another day and another house guest. Today Aunt Lisa came to check on Melissa, though at times it seemed like she was here to see Jacob and not Melissa. She really was a good sport, letting Jacob show her his 3DS games.
Nana was over for a visit and I captured today’s picture of the day. It was so cute to watch as Violet snuggle up with her Nana to watch some TV. It wasn’t long till both of them were snoring.
