Today I captured a picture of Violet wearing a mask Jacob made at school. She was so cute posing for the picture. It seems a great way to share a picture of my little princess and Jacob’s latest art work.
When I went through Jacob’s bag today I found a little surprise. It seems that he drew me a picture at school. It brought a smile to my face, so I thought it might bring a smile to the face of some of my readers.
Today was a work from home day and I thought I’d have a day without Violet napping, but as I was cooking dinner, she fell asleep sitting up in the big chair in our living room. It was so cute, I had to capture the moment. It amuses me that, she’s not the only member of the family to have fallen asleep sitting in that chair. There have been a few nights where I find myself dosing off while sitting there.
The day started out as a lazy Sunday morning, with me and the kids just hanging out while Melissa slept in a little. I’m not sure who turned it on, but the Ps3 got turned on, probably to watch Netflix. Before you know it Violet has the controller and is playing the Quack Quack game. She didn’t quite grasp how the controls worked, but she really tried hard to make it work. With Jacob’s growing obsession with video games, I’m sure it wont be long before she has a game that she both loves to play and can play.
Today we have a picture of Jacob playing the lottery at our local convinces store. I’m not sure why he does it, but we can’t go by a lottery station without him picking up a ticket to ‘play’. It’s very cute, and now even Violet does it. One of these day’s I’m going to have to play the numbers he picks.
Today Jacob and I headed out for a dinner adventure. Instead of heading out to a local restaurant, we decided to go further a field and head up to Montana’s. I tried to capture the entire eventing, but only a few turned out. Emjopy.
Today the family headed out to enjoy Family Day. While we were on our way to the over full Ice Path, I snapped this picture of Violet and me in the van.
Today we have a picture of Violet Dancing with some other kids and a Backyardigan at a friend’s birthday. It was a great time for both Violet and Jacob. Of course JAcob wanted nothing to do with the Backyardigan . I hope to take the time tomorrow to post more pictures from the party.
Today was Parents day at Violet’s ballet class, which means that I could watch her class. Of course that meant pictures and video. I delayed posting today’s picture in hopes of having a video ready to share, but it’s not ready. I will add it here in the morning when it’s done being processed by YouTube, till it’s done you can view it on Picasa by clicking on the image below I’ve updated to the an embedded YouTube video:
For today’s picture of the day, I decided to take a picture of Jacob’s home work. Each week his teacher sends home a book for him to read and then write a couple of sentences about and draw a picture. Jacob loves the reading, he surprises us with how well he reads through the books. With each week book I can see an improvement with his writing and drawings and I love that at the end the school year well have a book full of his work to look back on.
