POD: Jacob’s night time friends

From Picture of the Day 2013

Tonight Jacob reminded me for all the growing up he’s done, he’s still a little boy. Shortly after I had tucked him in for the night, while I was listening to Violet tell me a bed time story, I heard him climb out of his bed. He came into Violet’s room and told me he couldn’t sleep because he didn’t have Coco. I told him to go back to bed, and I would find Coco once Violet was done her story. Violet’s story went on a little longer then I expected and when I finally went to Jacob’s room to find his stuffed friend, I found him already asleep with both Coco and Jeffrey. I just had to get a picture of my little man and his stuffed friends.

POD: Climbing Adventures.

From Picture of the Day 2013

Today after school my Mom took the kids down to the lake for a little adventure.  The Kids love going on adventures with their Nan. I love when she takes pictures of the kids fun and I can use them for my Picture of the Day. I’m sure as the weather finally warms up they will be going on a lot more of these adventures. Perhaps I’ll find a time to tag along.

POD: Melissa’s second race number

From Picture of the Day 2013

Tomorrow is Melissa’s second run, this time it’s a 10k down young street. You might remember this was my second race 2 years ago when I started running races. I’m so excited to for her, and still a little jealous that she’s running and I’m not. So Tonight I have decided to change that. I will be running this summer. To cap it off I think it’s time to Commit the Family to run the Toronto Zoo Run in September. Of course my Big Run will be the Toronto Waterfront Marathon, the only question I have to answer is will I be doing the Half or Full Marathon.

POD: Back in the Pool

From Picture of the Day 2013

Friday’s is swim day and today while during Violet’s lesson I captured today’s picture of the day. It’s the third week of the spring session and the kids are loving being in the pool again. Swimming is an activity the entire family enjoys and it’s a great skill for the kids to have, one I wish I had better mastered in my youth.
