Today after swimming I took My mom and the kids out for a special treat, dinner at Swiss Chalet. While ordering food the kids argued about which plate would have Veggies and which would have Fries. I always try to get one of each and split them between them. While the waitress heard the discussion and when the plates came out I was amazed to see that the Veggies and Fries were already split between them. It’s that kind of service I like to reward with a big tip.

Today we have a picture of little Ruby hanging in her favourite place, at Melissa’s feet. She’s a good little puppy and it’s been an adventure adding her to our family. I’m just looking forward to the warmer weather so the night walks are more fun.

Today we have a picture of Ruby playing with one of her chew toys.

Today Ruby came home, so she was the star of the day. I took today’s picture of the day as Melissa was trying to get a good picture of our new puppy. Violet really loves Ruby and could have Mommy take a picture without her.

Today we headed out for a mini vacation at Great Wolf lodge with some good friends. The kids are loving it. Of course spending the day at the water park is exhausting so I’ll keep this short.

Today I have a picture of Ruby and Porsche taken by Lynn. Our little Ruby will be coming home Sunday. So this is the first of what will be many puppy pictures in the weeks and months to come. Don’t worry even with the puppy pictures I’m sure the blog wont go completely to the dogs.

We started our day off with the kids hockey practice, Jacob at 8 and Violet at 9. Today’s picture of the day is of Violet waiting to hit the ice for her practice. It was fun to watch the kids at their different practices. They both try so hard and it always amazes me how much better they have gotten over the course of the season.

Today after hockey we did some shopping with Aunty Suzanne and Nat. Violet adores Nate so I had to use this picture of the two of them for today’s picture of the day .

This morning after breakfast the kids got to open their Valentine’s presents from Melissa and me. It was fun to watch them opening them up.

Tonight before the kids headed off to bed we sat down and wrote out Valentine’s for their classes. It was fun to watch them each filling out the cards for their classmates.
