Today I have a picture of smiling Jacob, it hard to believe that tomorrow he turns 8. 8 years ago we were at the hospital waiting for him to come, and now he’s grown into a little man. Where does the time go?
Today Violet headed to a birthday party at Reptilia with her god mother. She had a great time, and I thought this picture of her with the turtle would make a great picture of the day.
This morning Melissa made Pancakes for breakfast. While little miss Violet was eating she snapped these for pictures.
Today Jacob got an early birthday present and he didn’t wait long to get started building. As soon as he was home from Baseball he started putting it together.
Today we have a picture of Violet and Jacob enjoying a popsicle outside after dinner.
Tonight’s picture of the day is of Violet and Ben waiting for thier turn at the plat during tonights baseball game. I’m so proud of little Violet who got two hits tonight, without using the tee.
Tonight after Beavers the kids headed the schools playground for some fun. Violet was so excited to show of her growing skills on the monkey bars, and Jacob was just having fun.
Today Bill and I took our kids to the Science Centre for an afternoon of fun and learning. I took a bunch of photos but I thought the three of them as Astronauts would make the best picture of the day.
For dinner tonight I thought the kids could have grilled cheese, but instead of cooking them in the frying pan like normal, I thought I’d try using the BBQ. The best part of it was that while I was cooking Jacob took the time to wipe down the table and set it, without me asking. He even set up the plates to look like faces.
Another great night for the kids to play some baseball. Tonight was a game for both Violet and Jacob, and both seemed to really enjoy it. Violet had 2 hits, one with a T and one without. While Jacob when 1 for 2 with a single and a ground out. It was a bit of a challenge watching both of them, but seeing how much fun they were having it was worth it.
