With the family all snuggled up in their beds, it’s time for me to relax with a beer and some Watch Dogs, my father’s day gift from the family.

Tonight was baseball night. The kids love getting into their uniforms and heading out to the diamond. Both kids had a good games, but Jacob shined. He had two hits and at least 1 RBI maybe more, I was watching Violet’s game when he got his second hit. To top it off after the game the coached called the team over and congratulated Jacob on a great game and gave him the game ball. I’m so proud of my little guy.

This evening when I sat down at my desk to do a bit of coding, I found Chloe laying across it, purring away. So out came the camera and I had my picture of they day.

Today I headed out with Ruby for her after dinner walk, it was lightly raining but I figured it wouldn’t be too bad. By the time we were around the corner it was pouring and Ruby wanted to head for home. So home we came, but we were both drenched. I snapped todays picture of the day as I dried Ruby off, she just looked so cute.
Today after school our little family headed for an evening out. Jacob was on a quest to spend his birthday gift cards. It was a successful quest and so I captured today’s picture of the day on the way home. Jacob is showing off his new deluxe Power Ranger sword and Violet his showing off her bottle of water to be like her big brother.

Today was Ben’s birthday party, and
Sky Zone. It’s the first party I’ve been at that bouncing off the wall was encouraged. The kids really enjoyed bouncing around. Thank you Ben and Jen for inviting us to celebrate Ben’s birthday with you.

Today we had Jacob’s birthday party. It was a Lego themed party with Bricks for Kids. The kids got to play with Lego and make a project. Jacob Chose to build the Farris wheel. As always more pictures than I have time to deal with so for now Here is one of Jacob in front of his birthday banner.

Tomorrow is Jacob’s birthday party. He’s really excited, he can’t wait for his Lego party. So tonight I have a picture of the great loot bags, Melissa and her Helpers put together today.

Today Ruby headed down to the Humane society to get spayed. She looks so sad laying there with her cone. I’m sure she’ll get better soon.

Today my boy turned 8. I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since he was born. We had a quit evening at home with a special dinner and a few presents. It was a great evening and as usual Melissa’s lasagna was a hit with all.
