Today we have a picture from Violet’s poem book, that she’s working on with her Nan. They write the poem together and then Violet draws a picture.

Today we have some of Violets Kindergarten art for our picture of the day. Considering how much she does, not everything is POD worthy. This is one I really like.

Today we headed to Shereway Mall with some of our friends so that the kids could go to the Santa Experience. I love this picture of Jacob and Violet with Santa. I think it’s one of the best we’ve ever gotten.

Today was the Lakeshore Santa Clause Parade. I didn’t think we’d actually see it today, but the kids really wanted to so when went an walked along the parade route. Parades are much faster when you walk towards the beginning. Today’s Picture of the day is of the kids getting candy cans from a parade elf.

Tonight I came home to find that Jacob had eaten at his Nan’s house but Violet had slept through dinner. So after pondering what to make for the two of us, I fired up the barbecue and through on some Hotdogs for her and a couple burgers for me. My goal this winter is to barbeque at least once a month, part of me would like to try for once a week.

Today we setup Melissa’s old laptop on Jacob’s new desk to give him a real computer in his room. He was so excited to have a computer in there that he can play MineCraft on.

Today we have a picture of Jacob and Violet taken during their outing with their Nan. After church they headed down town to check out the Christmas decorations around Nathan Phillips Square and the downtown. Today’s picture of the day is of them standing in front of Toronto’s official Christmas tree.

Sunday is the first Advent so our little Violet came home from school with this lovely Advent candle.

My little girl loves to draw, colour, and paint. In fact she loves most creative things. She produces so much Art that I’m a little ashamed to admit, sometimes I don’t really see it.  Today’s Picture of the Day is one of them. I’m not sure when she drew it, In fact I don’t know anything about it except that it’s been on the fridge for at least a few days, and that it’s a butterfly family.  I thought it was a great picture now that I’ve really seen it and wanted to share it with you all.

Tonight I have a picture of our ‘little’ puppy Ruby, I captured in our even playtime in the local playground.
