Today we celebrated the long weekend with a trip to Canada’s Wonderland. I captured this picture at the start of our day as Violet and Jacob planned what rides we’d go on first.

Today after taekwondo, Jacob and I headed to Playdium to see if it is really where he wants to celebrate his birthday with his friends. It was fun playing the different games with my boy and he was so excited that in a few short weeks he will be there with some of his closest friends from school.

Tonight I have a picture in what seems like her new favourite spot. She sits half up the stairs and watches over us. Tonight it seems she was using her laser eyes to keep us safe.

Today I share a picture of one of Violet’s Mothers day gifts. I have to say when I saw it I was thrilled. It’s such a sweet gift and I’m so amazed that her teach did it with all the kids in her class. I just wish Jacob had made one.

Today was Jacob’s first soccer practice of the summer. It’s the first summer that we’ve enrolled him in soccer so we are curious to see how he likes it. After week one, I’m happy to say that it’s a hit.

Today at the kid’s school was crazy hair day, and so out came the hair dye. They both were so excited to head to school with their colourful dews.

Tomorrow the kids have crazy hair day at school. So  tonight we headed out to get some supplies. I’ll be sure to share the results tomorrow.

I experienced a day of extremes today, in the morning I took the kids to swimming class at Gus Ryder pool keeps its temperature sweltering, no mater how hot or cold it is outside. Today it felt like a sauna. Then in the afternoon it was off to Canlan Ice Rink where I froze in my t-shirt and shorts. Though I did manage to get this cool picture of Violet during the drills.

After a morning with ball hockey and an afternoon play day, we headed over to Nana and Papa’s for a short visit. With all the different activities we have, we’re not to sure we can make it there tomorrow. While there I capture today’s Panorama of the day.

Today after school Violet insisted on showing off her impressive skills on the monkey bars. I tried to capture a video her, but it isn’t worth sharing. So for today’s picture of the day I have this image I captured of her.
