Today after work we headed out as a family, both kids wanted to sit on the back seat of the stroller. So we squeezed them in, and they actually seemed happy about it.

Today was a family barbecue in Fenelon Falls, we had planned on attending but with Melissa’s hectic work schedule over the last week and continuing into next, it just didn’t work out. When we first told Jacob he was quite disappointed. It worked out for the best when Nana and Papa decided to take him along with them. As they were heading out I snapped todays picture, Jacob doesn’t seem to impressed does he?
Project 365-231: Old school fort

Today Jacob built himself a fort the way I did when I was a kid, bed sheets and furniture. I snapped this picture of Jacob while he played with his Jesse in the fort.

So I picked her up and set her in the swing. After a while the kids left and so Jacob came over to Join her. Between pushing them I snapped this picture.

Project 365-223: Gliding?
Today was a good day at skating. Jacob stayed with the class and listened to the teachers. He also managed to glide for a few seconds. To be fair it wasn’t long and ended with him on the ice, but it was great to watch. He’s really trying to go fast on the ice these days. I’m really hoping that his skating will click this fall the way his swimming did at the beginning of the summer.
