Today we have a picture of Jacob working on his PSA for his media literacy project. He worked really hard on it, first coming up with the idea for his Kids help phone poster and then doing all the work. I’m so proud of him.

POD: Valintines Day Hockey with Violet
To Violet and I headed down to the MasterCard Centre to watch the last home game of the Toronto Furry. Violet was really excited to see Natalie Spooner play. She ware’s her number 24 on her DS team and was so sad that we were not able to get her autograph. The game was great, the Furries managing to tie it in the final few minutes to force overtime. Unfortunately they lost in overtime, but Violet loved the game, and I think we’ll be watching a lot more Furry games in the years to come.

POD: Rolling up the Rim to try again
Another day another teacher interview. Today we have some art work from Violet’s weekend jurnal. She wrote about last weekend when I took her to Tim Hortons after her hockey game last week, and she had a Muffin and a Hot Chocolate. Rolling up the Rim really stuck with her. Even thought we both got Try Again.

POD: Preparing Valentines
Violet loves to do crafts, so much so that the thought of store-bought Valentines was unthinkable. So last night her and Mommy got started on making 22 Cards for her classmates and teacher.
It’s only 2 steps:
- Cut out hearts and add Glitter Glue,
- Write the classmates names and decorate the cards
Step one was completed last night with Mommy, tonight Nan or I will complete Step 2 with her.
