Today Jacob and I headed out for a dinner adventure. Instead of heading out to a local restaurant, we decided to go further a field and head up to Montana’s. I tried to capture the entire eventing, but only a few turned out. Emjopy.
This evening Melissa decided to make a special breakfast for tomorrow, a couple of devil eggs. Two for each of us, well it’s really just one egg each. Now if they can just make it through till the morning.
Today we have a picture of Nan dressed up as a princess. It seems little Violet though today was a good day to dress up her Nan. And Melissa managed to get it on film, so I really had know choice what to use for my picture of the day.
Today the family headed out to enjoy Family Day. While we were on our way to the over full Ice Path, I snapped this picture of Violet and me in the van.
Today we have a picture of Violet Dancing with some other kids and a Backyardigan at a friend’s birthday. It was a great time for both Violet and Jacob. Of course JAcob wanted nothing to do with the Backyardigan . I hope to take the time tomorrow to post more pictures from the party.
Today was Parents day at Violet’s ballet class, which means that I could watch her class. Of course that meant pictures and video. I delayed posting today’s picture in hopes of having a video ready to share, but it’s not ready. I will add it here in the morning when it’s done being processed by YouTube, till it’s done you can view it on Picasa by clicking on the image below I’ve updated to the an embedded YouTube video:
Sunday Jacob goes to a birthday party for a friend from school. So today Melissa took Jacob and Violet shopping to get a present. It’s such a cute doll I thought I’d use it for today’s picture of the day.
For today’s picture of the day, I decided to take a picture of Jacob’s home work. Each week his teacher sends home a book for him to read and then write a couple of sentences about and draw a picture. Jacob loves the reading, he surprises us with how well he reads through the books. With each week book I can see an improvement with his writing and drawings and I love that at the end the school year well have a book full of his work to look back on.
Today was Valentines day and of course we got the kids cards and some chocolates. My picture of the day is a good one of Jacob holding up his card with his Chocolates in front of him. It was such a great picture of my boy that I just had to use it.
Running errands with Melissa and me proved to much for my little girl today. She fell asleep about half way through our afternoon out. I was amused when I looked at the couple of photos I took of my sleeping girl to find that her eye was just a little open.
