Today we headed out to the mall to look for new shoe’s for Jacob and some other things for our upcoming vacation. I captured this picture during our outing. I think Violet’s had enough shopping for one night.
Today filling the bath for the kids, I watched as there two little ducks fought through the bubbles to float at the surface of the tub. It was a neat moment so I snapped a picture for my picture of the day. As I look at it now it I can’t help but think how it’s the little moments that for the most interesting memories.
Today felt like a summer day, so our little family spent most of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon enjoying it. My picture of the day is Violet showing off her Hockey skills. On day’s like this it’s so hard to pick which picture to use, but after yesterday’s hockey picture I thought I’d show off Violet’s growing love of the game too.

Today was Jacob’s second play-off game, his team won the first one and a win today would have put them in the finals. I captured this picture while he waited to head out onto the ice. Unfortunately his team couldn’t over come playing 4 players down, 2 on each line. They tried hard, coming back from a 3 goal defecate to tie it at 5-5 before the other team won the game on the final shift. They play a tie breaker game Friday to see who will go for the championship.
Walking along the Parking barriers is something every kids does, I know I did it when I was a kid, still do on occasion. For little kids it’s sometimes hard so often both my kids would hold onto my hand while they walked along. I don’t remember when Jacob stopped needing to hold my hand, but tonight Violet managed to do it on her own. It seems my little girl is growing up. At least I can take some comfort in the fact that she still needed me to keep her stead when she fist stepped onto the barrier.
As the weather warms we’re spending and more of our evenings outside. The kids love spending the evening running around and playing with other little ones. Today we have a picture of Violet and Aaron playing together, while Jacob and Jordan (Arron’s older brother) played with Jacob’s DS. I was lucky to capture this moment, right after I took it Violet turned away from the camera and said no pictures.
Today Jacob started his march break camp. I wanted to picture to capture the moment, Jacob had other ideas. Perhaps tomorrow on the way to camp I’ll capture a better picture.
Today felt like summer, never mind spring, it was as if we went right into summer. So Jacob and I headed over to Nana and Papa’s house. Jacob riding, while I walked beside. It was a great little moment that I had to capture.

Today we have a picture captured by Nan while she was watching little Violet. It seems she dressed up so the two of them could have a tea party. I just wish I was home so I could have gotten another picture of my mom in a tiara.
It’s been a wild week of weather here in Toronto. The week started with -15 like temperatures, everyone bundled up against the freezing wind. Then today we spent the day with a temperature around +!5. The kids knew to take advantage of it, and after school Jacob and some of his friends played in the local park. I captured this picture of 3 of them playing.
