From Pictures of the Day 2012

Today was a relaxing day, I spent most of it poolside. I snapped today’s picture of the day while Jacob was swimming and I relaxed in the sun. Tomorrow we head to the Magic Kingdom for a long day of fun.

POD: Posing with a Pirate

From Pictures of the Day 2012

Today was our first full day of vacation and it got to a slow start. After a late flight and delays at the car rental place we didn’t get to be till close to 4am. We did manage to get to Downtown Disney and while we were there we posed for a today’s picture of the day. There are a bunch more pictures but I just don’t have the energy to post tonight. Perhaps I’ll find the time while on vacation, if not you can look forward to some posts about our vacation over the coming weeks.

POD: A long day

image

It’s been a long day Melissa hasn’t been feeling well so today we went to the hospital to get her checked out.  We started the day with hopes of each of us heading into work after lunch.  We captured today’s picture during our ride in, before we realized how the day would go. As midnight quickly approaches we are now hopping to be home before dawn.  We’re sure everything will work out for the best, and it’s better to be dealing with now then next week when we’re on vacation in the states.  It’s also give me the opportunity to try the posting process entirely from my phone.

POD: Riding into Spring

From Pictures of the Day 2012

It’s starting to feel like my picture of the day is becoming the Jacob picture of the day. I’m sure that will change in the coming days, but for today we have another picture of my boy. I captured this while we walked to the store to get milk. He’s getting so good on his bike, I’m wondering if we’ll be able to take the training wheels off before his birthday.

POD: Jacob’s laptop

From Pictures of the Day 2012

Today we have a picture of Jacob working away on ‘his’ laptop. It was his Nana and Papa’s but as its aged they have upgraded and gave it to him to use. I’ve setup Ubuntu on it, it runs better than windows, and sence he mostly surfs the web, playing flash games and watching YouTube it doesn’t matter what OS he uses. I like it because it gives me a Ubuntu system that I can play with. At first he wasn’t happy when Violet stuck some stickers on it, though I think it adds character. I’m thinking it might be time to give Violet a turned at the laptop, she already likes watching Frosty the snow man, and Hello Kitty cartoons on YouTube.

POD: Lazy Saturday Afternoon

From Pictures of the Day 2012

It was a lazy kind of day, with or little family spending some time preparing for our up coming holiday and some just relax. I snapped this picture while Jacob read his book from school. Of course our lazy day got more exciting when a couple of Jacob’s friends knocked on the door around dinner time, It’s amazing how quickly the kids went from relaxing around the house to running around outside with friends.
