The weather was so nice after dinner tonight, I couldn’t say no when the kids asked to play outside. It was fun being out there with the kids. I am amused when Jacob does things like I captured today. As a parent I think he shouldn’t be doing that, what if he falls. Though there is a part of me that knows when I was a kid I would have been all over that. Of course when he did it on the high slide in the big playground the other day, I was more concerned then I was today.
When I got home today I couldn’t help but notice this castle my little girl made with her Lego. She even made a flag for her castle, and put the castle in front of a fan so that it would blow in the wind. I’m not exactly sure what she was drawing on the flag, but I’m impressed that she thought her castle needed one.
Today we have a picture of Violet’s Lucky Rock. She found it after dinner at Applebee’s in Florida and it made the trip back to Toronto tin Nana and Papa’s bag. It was dropped off today and boy was my little girl happy to see it. So I thought I’d take a picture of it and share it with my readers. I’m not sure how she started but my little girl is getting a growing rock collection.
Tonight Violet was in bed early so I wasn’t surprised when she came down the stairs just after 11. I envisioned a late night we her, but all she wanted was to snuggle with daddy.
Tomorrow it’s back to work and with it a renewed focus on eating better, but for tonight Jacob and I headed out to Domino’s to pickup some pizza and Cheesy bread.
Our last day of vacation has ended and now we wait for our flight. I captured today’s picture of Violet’s Mickey and Minnie watching planes while we waited. I would have used a shot of us enjoying the pool but I took them all with the good camera and didn’t want to pull out the laptop to post it.
Tonight was our last full day and night here in Orlando. It was a relaxing day at the pool with a little shopping, so we only took around 100 photos. The one that stood out for me though was taken at the end of the night, it’s a group shot of our little family taken in our suite. complete with a representative of Disney.
Today we headed out to Disney Hollywood Studio’s for a day of fun. As luck(and planning) would have it Papa, Jacob and I all wore Mario Shirts. So I thought way not use this picture from the start of the day as my picture of the day.
Today we spent the afternoon at Daytona Beach. It was fun to watching he kids playing in the sand and running in the ocean. Well Jacob ran into the ocean Violet just sort of sat at the edge of it. It was a great day, I loved swimming in the ocean.
Today we headed to the Magic Kingdom where Violet had an appointment at the Bippity Boppity boutique, to become a princess. Jacob had an appointment at Pirates cove, to become a pirate. We captured today’s picture after each of their transformations was complete. It was a long day at the magic kingdom. We arrived before they opened and left when the closed. What amazed me most was that Violet still looked like a little princess at the end of the day.
