Yesterday at the Christmas concert we won a Night Before Christmas house. It lights up and tells the story of the night before Christmas. We set it up with our Christmas cards around it, and it seems little Jingles approves, because this morning we came downstairs to find him hit on the house watching over our living room. .
Today was the kids Christmas concert at school. It was exciting because both kids had a line in their part of the show. Both did a great job in front of the audience. It was great to see, we got some video, but I haven’t looked at it yet, perhaps I’ll post it in a few day.
It would seem that all of Jingles Naughtiness has caught up with him. When we came downstairs today we found him tapped to the wall surrounded by army men. I’m not sure what the kids thought, though they were definitely excited to see him there. I’m sure tonight he’ll find a way to get himself down, and find a new place to hang out for tomorrow. Unless some other toys have a grudge against Jingles that is.
This morning we came downstairs to find that Jingles had made breakfast for everyone. Of course he’s a little guy so instead of regular sized Pancakes he made Elf Sized ones. The kids loved them. As always I’m left scratching my head wondering what surprises our little elf has for us in the few remaining days till christmas.
Yesterday the city was covered with snow, and so this morning the kids climbed into their snowsuits for some fun in the snow. Violet was out playing in the snow before I even got out of bed. Though once up I headed out to join them. After they played a bit, we pulled out the shovels and clearing some of the snow. It was fun to watch how hard the two of them worked at clearing the snow. I was most impressed with how hard Violet worked, she didn’t want to stop before me, but in the end having fun in the snow won out. Still I look forward to more snow days where I get to shovel the snow with my kids.

I captured today’s Picture of the day before Jacob’s hockey game. The coach goes over the starting lineup with the team and reviews where each player takes the faceoff. Today Jacob started the game on Right wing.
Today we have a picture of some of Violet Christmas art. I don’t know the story of this little Angel, but I’m wondering if Santa’s time at the top of our tree might be coming to an end.
This morning we woke to find Jingles hanging out in Violet’s room having a Tea Party with some of her dolls. It seems he once again raided our cookies. I was surprised that Violet didn’t find Jingles, it took Jacob to come along and find Jingles and his Tea Party. Of course once it was found Violet was very excited and took a cup of Tea for herself before helping herself to the cookies.
Last night Jingles sat down with our portable DVD player and watched the movie Elf. What would a movie be without popcorn and a drink? He clearly thinks they are needed additions. At least he made enough popcorn so the kids could take some to school today.
This morning we found Jingles in Jacob’s train piggy bank. I captured him there with Paddington Bear as I put Jacob down to bed. What surprised me most was it was Violet that found Jingles this morning not Jacob.
