Today I headed out with Ruby for her after dinner walk, it was lightly raining but I figured it wouldn’t be too bad. By the time we were around the corner it was pouring and Ruby wanted to head for home. So home we came, but we were both drenched. I snapped todays picture of the day as I dried Ruby off, she just looked so cute.
Today after school our little family headed for an evening out. Jacob was on a quest to spend his birthday gift cards. It was a successful quest and so I captured today’s picture of the day on the way home. Jacob is showing off his new deluxe Power Ranger sword and Violet his showing off her bottle of water to be like her big brother.

Today was Ben’s birthday party, and
Sky Zone. It’s the first party I’ve been at that bouncing off the wall was encouraged. The kids really enjoyed bouncing around. Thank you Ben and Jen for inviting us to celebrate Ben’s birthday with you.

Today we had Jacob’s birthday party. It was a Lego themed party with Bricks for Kids. The kids got to play with Lego and make a project. Jacob Chose to build the Farris wheel. As always more pictures than I have time to deal with so for now Here is one of Jacob in front of his birthday banner.

Tomorrow is Jacob’s birthday party. He’s really excited, he can’t wait for his Lego party. So tonight I have a picture of the great loot bags, Melissa and her Helpers put together today.

Today Ontario went to the poll to choose a new provincial government. It was a hard choice this year, with no party really worthy of being in power. But it’s a democracy and you have to vote for the people who are running, so vote I did. As in years post my picture of the day is of the ballot (
POD: Election Day,
Project 365-298: Election day )

Today Ruby headed down to the Humane society to get spayed. She looks so sad laying there with her cone. I’m sure she’ll get better soon.

While the kids were off at softball with Melissa, I headed to the Rogers Centre with Bill. 12th game of the year.

Today my boy turned 8. I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since he was born. We had a quit evening at home with a special dinner and a few presents. It was a great evening and as usual Melissa’s lasagna was a hit with all.

Today I have a picture of smiling Jacob, it hard to believe that tomorrow he turns 8. 8 years ago we were at the hospital waiting for him to come, and now he’s grown into a little man. Where does the time go?
