Yesterday morning was unlike any I’ve had in more than 2 years, and even then what happened this morning was rare. It started normally, me up with Ruby, I puttered around the kitchen, doing the few remaining dishes and making the kids lunches while Ruby ate. Then with Ruby settled I headed upstairs to get ready for my day. I found in eerily quit with everyone still asleep. As I was getting ready for my shower an idea popped into my head and wouldn’t go away.
What if I start my day with a run?
I don’t know where it came from, I haven’t been out for a run in months, or more. But there it was and it wasn’t going g away. I stopped getting ready for the shower and started hunting for my long discarded running cloths. Before I knew it I was out on the streets trying to run.

Today I continue with sharing interesting things I find on the TTC. Today it’s a sign at Old Mill Station. I wasn’t able to capture it will enough with a single shot, so I put together a little collage.

It’s baseball day for the kids, so for my picture of the day I have one I captured at the diamond. I just love how hard Violet tries when she’s at the plat. I took some pictures of Jacob too, but this one of Violet stood out as the best of the bunch.

Last week was a week of relaxing, today was back to work. So to relax after the kids were in bed I opend up my bottle of Young’s Double Chocolate Stout for a late night desert. It’s not the same in the bottle as in draft, but it’s still an enjoyable brew.

Usually its Violet who disturbs Ruby while she sleeps, but this afternoon it was the other way round. It was so cute I had to get a picture.

Today Ruby’s sister Porsche came for a visit. I tried to get a good picture of them together, but I failed. So instead I put together the photos I got into a collage for today’s picture of the day.

Today we have a picture of my lunch. A BBQed double cheese burger. Not my favourite picture of the day, but it’s the only picture I have for today.

Today the kids didn’t have a game, they had practice and I was impressed how hard both of them worked. It’s not their favourite part of baseball, but they listened to the coaches and gave it there all.

Today the kids headed down to their Softball pictures. I of course captured my own picture while the photographer was take his. So for today’s picture of the day I have a picture of Violet and Jacob posing.

Today we have a picture of Violet and Ben, as the help making lunch. They were little Helpers most of the morning. They look so cute in their ‘chief hats’.
