Tonight was another party planning night, for Melissa and gang. So Nate came to visit again. Tonight the kids all played outside for a while before dinner. I captured today’s picture of Violet and Nate racing while they played. I think Violet might have had a bit of an edge in that race. Still the 2 of them had a great time playing together.

Today we went on a quest to find me a Halloween costume. It didn’t work out as we expected, it seems the store was filled with Zombies. Perhaps we’ll have better lunch next time.

Tonight Melissa and Suzanne got together to plan for our upcoming Halloween bash.  So Nate spent the evening with me and the kids. 

On my way to the office today I captured this picture of Hydro crews installing new polls. It was interesting to watch the care they were taking while raising the pole. I was a little surprised to see that it was just a bare pole with nothing to attach the wires to.

In honour of Google announcing Android 5.0 Lollypop I thought it would be fun to share my Android self from Googles Androidify app.

Today we have a picture of my desk at the office. To be fair I had a bit of an explosion of screens today. My work computer is the middle to monitors, on the left is the laptop I’ve been using to test Windows 10, and on the right is my nieces broken laptop I had brought to the office recover some of her files. Looking at the setup tonight, has me thinking that I should see if I can make it permanently.

Today we celebrated Thanksgiving again, with the other side of our family. It was a great evening but also a long one.

Today we headed to Nana and Papa’s for the Thanksgiving dinner.It was a great evening, but also a little sad to say good-bye to the house. Before dinner we gave each said something about the house that we were thankful for, listening to the kids say what they were thankful for was sweet.

Today we were up before 6 to get to the rink in time for Jacob to be goalie, for the first and hopefully last time this season. He played hard, and made some shots, but unfortunately for every shot he stopped another went in. Still he seemed to have a good time.

Today we have a picture I took during my afternoon coffee break.  It wasn’t till then that I realized I had brought a couple of Jacobs Power Ranger Keys with me.  It seemed only fair to share my coffee with it.
