Project 365-220: Second try

image

Today was a sorta lazy day, we did some shopping and some organizing of the house. What I didn’t do was find time to take a picture. Well almost didn’t. I did take a couple of snaps of the kids while they were playing outside after dinner. The one I’m using is of Jacob pushing Violet on the Big Wheel. This is almost the picture I was trying to get a few days ago. Perhaps I’ll try again in a few days and get it perfect.

Today after work the family headed out to Old Navy to check out the Jean sale. I tried on a few pairs and was shocked to find that my waist was down to a 36. It seems inconceivable that when I met Melissa I was wearing a 42. I wonder if I could get down to a 32. I think the vision of losing another couple of inches that inspired me to head out for a run tonight. Check out my run at RunKeeper

Today while Violet napped I decided to head out for a ride. So I loaded Jacob in the trailer and hopped on my bike. I wasn’t sure where I was going, though Jacob wanted to go to the High Park and the Castle Playground. I wanted to go further. In the end I compromised and took the long way to high park. I let Jacob play for a while before getting back on the bike and heading home.

Another month passes and which means its time for another self-portrait. I snapped this while watching Jacob play in the park. We weren’t there long as it was starting to rain a little but it was a fun while it lasted. From there we headed out to track down a Geo-cache, it’s something I’d been meaning to do but haven’t taken the time to do till today. Here is a link to the cache I found (cache).
