Instead of another Picture of Jacob on the ice, I decided to use a blurry one of Violet playing with the Fisher Prices Laugh and Learn house. We got it for Jacob’s first Christmas (I think) and it’s still amusing our little ones.

Prroject 365-229: The Chair
Today is Cavity day, I write this while sitting in the chair pictured. Any minute now the dentist will come in and get to work. He came and did his work. The were minor cavities and didn’t even need to freeze me. Unfortunately he found another Larger cavity that he’ll have to fix another day.
Project 365-228: Betrayed…
Today I headed out for my run like usual. Though it didn’t end like usual, about 2 maybe 3 minutes into my run I feel something in my leg. My calf to be precise, at first I thought it was nothing and tried to run on. That unfortunately didn’t work out. I soon found my self hobbling back home. Before I my leg betrayed me I was having a good run, and after a weekend of overindulgence I really need one. I’m not sure what I’ve done to my leg, if it’s a charile horse or a pulled muscle or something else. Only time will tell, I just hope that it wont keep me from the gym with Melissa tomorrow night.

Project 365-225: A tale of 2 Swings
Today after dinner the kids and I took a walk, first to the bank and then the park. When we got the Jacob ran to the apparatus to play with the kids. Violet on the hand only had eyes for the swings. So I picked her up and set her in the swing. After a while the kids left and so Jacob came over to Join her. Between pushing them I snapped this picture.

Project 365-223: Gliding?
Today was a good day at skating. Jacob stayed with the class and listened to the teachers. He also managed to glide for a few seconds. To be fair it wasn’t long and ended with him on the ice, but it was great to watch. He’s really trying to go fast on the ice these days. I’m really hoping that his skating will click this fall the way his swimming did at the beginning of the summer.
Project 365-222: Future Hockey Star?
Project 365-221: Am I being paranoid?
Tonight before bed I spent some time reading to Violet, our picture to-day is one of the books. It’s a cute little book for teaching numbers to kids, but I got to thinking do I really want here reading it? Do I want her to be playing with Acorns, even plastic ones? Am I setting her up for trouble if she see’s one on the ground and wants to play with it? So I did a little research and can’t seem to tell if I should be worried. I did a little research and it seems that there’s a bunch of differing opinions on the subject. The Nut-Free Mom sees to think that they are alright to handle. They are Nuts according to http://content.karger.com/ProdukteDB/produkte.asp?Doi=72135 and http://www.wisegeek.com/can-people-eat-acorns.htm.
So what do you think, should we put away the book?
