Tonight Fog descended apon our fair city. Visibility was horrible as we headed to the supper market to get some groceries. Though I have to say having done my 10k run in it, I kinda liked it. It was very peaceful.

Project 365-314: Pibba!
Today the family did some shopping, while out we had some Pizza for dinner. Of course to our little Violet it’s Pibba, and it’s one of her favourite foods. I like it because she’s so adorable saying Pibba.
Project 365-314: Visiting the Dentist
Today Jacob had a visit to the dentist. For a cleaning and a general check-up. The visit started out pretty good, but after a few minutes he’d had enough of the cleaning. Of course when the Dentist came in to look over his mouth he sat with his mouth open wide, no complaints. This amused the hygienist.

Looking at Language
Yesterday while browsing Lifehacker.com I came a cross this post about language and the video above. I just had to share the video. Enjoy.
Project 365-312: Upgraded Facilities
This week the powers that be, upgraded our laundry facilities. Gone are the older worn out machines in their place are brand new front loading washers and spiffy new driers. So today I thought I’d share a picture of our new driers. Sure it’s not the most interesting Project 365 photo of the year, but they can’t all be great.
Mobile Mondays: AnyPost
Today’s app is AnyPost, a full featured Ping.FM client for android. Ping.FM is a website for posting to multiple services at once (See my post from last year @ Cloud Gazing: Ping.FM and hellotxt ). The Simple interface allows you to post Social Network Status, Micro Blog, or even full blog posts to multiple sites at once.
Photos and Geo-Location can be added to your posts in a couple of clicks. Photos are chosen from your phones gallery. Locations allows you to select your location on a map or pull it using the phones GPS.
One feature I really like about AnyPost is that it syncs recent posts to Ping.FM allowing you review what post through Ping.FM regardless of where your posted it from.
Project 365-311: Computer Time Revisited
Once again my picture of the day is Jacob at the computer. I didn’t really plan this, it’s just that when we sat down for computer time he navigated to TVOKids.com and to the The Mysteries of Alfred Hedgehog game. He’s played it before but tonight was different. Tonight he wasn’t asking me to ready every chat box that popped up. He would sound out the words or when he’d stumble ask for help. But it was mostly him. It was amazing to see. I’ve know for a while that he was picking up reading but it’s the first time I’ve seen him using it for something more than just to read. Here he was using it to solve problems. It was a proud moment for this father.
Project 365-310: Walk the Monkey
Today’s picture is of Violet’s stuffed Monkey, relaxing in her dolls stroller. Our little Violet loves her dolls and stuffed animals. She pushes them in her stroller or tries to put diapers on them. She’ll even lay them down and cover them with a blanket and say ‘shhh’, like she’s putting them to bed. I’m not sure if I’d seen the Monkey in the stroller before today, but it was there a lot today.
