Today I headed put to a pub to celebrate my Tom’s 35 birthday. During the evening the board games made an appearance.

Today we went out for dinner with my mom. I snapped today’s picture of the day as we walked to the restaurant. It was such a sweet moment.

Today while walking home from school the kids say a firetruck driving by and waved.  Seeing the kids waving must have been a cute sight, because  the truck stopped and the kids got to explore  it. They both seemed to really enjoy checking out the different parts of the firetruck. To be honest I’m a little jealous, I’d love a chance explore a firetruck.

Today’s Picture of the day is of Jacob’s lunch for tomorrow. You might look at that and think something is missing. There doesn’t seem to be a main course for our little guys lunch. That’s because his friends mom will be bringing them a hot-dog. What’s great is how well the Silicon cupcake liners work for separating the different snacks that Melissa has packed for his lunch.

Today we have a picture of Jacob climbing around the local playground. It impressed me how he didn’t stop even when he left his shoe behind.

Today Violet was wearing a vest her Papa picked out for her. It was so cute that I had to get a picture. Of course she didn’t want to put down Jacob’s Leapster Explorer while I took them.

Today Violet started dance class and so we have two pictures. The first, the official picture of the day, is Violet on the way to dance class. The second is her after.  All the way there she was excited. At the studio, before her class she was going up to the other little girls, introducing herself to all her new ‘friends’. I’m so glad my little girl loved her first day of dance. I hope she still loves it in the weeks to come. The only crying we had, was when I had to tell her she couldn’t join the girls going in for the next class.

Today while heading to a clients our bus had a little accident. It seems a car thought it could finish a turn before the bus came through the intersection. As you can see from the photo he didn’t make it. Thankfully know one was in hurt. It was strange right before the accident one of the other riders said, ‘he’s not going to try to make the turn is he?’. The next thing I heard was the buses horn. The driver slammed on the brakes, and for a moment I thought we wouldn’t hit but then I heard the crunch of bus hitting car.

Today after dropping Jacob off at school, Melissa let Violet play at the park. while there She snapped today’s Picture of the day of my little girl. Looking at the picture it seems to me she’s wondering where her Big brother has gone.

Today was Jacob’s second Future Stars skating class. He did so well today, though it by the end he was getting tired. It seems that an hour on the ice after a full day of school, is a lot for our little guy. For our picture today I have Nana, Papa and Mommy watching Jacob skate.
